[ My Review ]
Your Every Move by Sam Blake publishes January 1st 2026 with Corvus and is described as a ‘thrillingly gripping new novel from the Irish Times No. 1 bestselling author of The Killing Sense’.
Sam Blake has really tapped into the current zeitgeist, with her latest novel being inspired by the sensational and extremely popular streaming shows Selling Sunset and Baby Reindeer. Immersing the reader into the world of Rosie Kinsella, estate-agent extraordinaire, who is Irish and based in London, Blake introduces a convincing cast of characters, laying the ground for a tense, stylish and current thriller. (And for those of you who have read past Sam Blake novels, look out for those Easter eggs!!)
Rosie Kinsella developed her Instagram account, @rosiesparislife, when she lived and worked in Paris. Now in London, her new employer is thrilled to have on board someone with such a well-established and growing social media platform. Rosie loves posting stylised photographs of the homes she will be showing, as well as other aspects of her life, so her portfolio is normally quite successful. The office environment is relatively healthy, all under the control of the ice-queen, Yaraslava, who works hard and expects the same from her staff.
When Rosie receives strange messages on her phone she is initially quite dismissive, thinking it must be practical joke. As the tone and content get more disconcerting, Rosie’s concern heightens. Looking over her shoulder becomes her norm as the feeling of being watched grows so when Rosie shares her discomfort with her work friends they gather around her. As the content gets more and more personal, Rosie’s anxiety levels climb.
Rosie, as an influencer, has a platform so, even though she informs the police, she decides to step up and call out her stalker online. She receives an overwhelming level of support and unwittingly becomes a poster-girl for others caught up in similar situations. But Rosie’s courageous stance also exposes her more and she soon finds herself in quite a vulnerable situation.
When the investigation takes a dramatic leap, the action moves fast between London and The Lizard in Cornwall, adding to the urgency and tension of the plot. Sam Blake knows Cornwall and London very well and her knowledge shines through in every chapter, with powerful imagery that transport the reader right on location, adding to the authenticity of the novel.
Featuring strong and intelligent female characters Your Every Move is written in the trademark atmospheric and glamorous style of a Sam Blake novel. Shady dealings, a malicious stalker and vivid descriptions all combine bringing the reader another sleek and contemporary psychological thriller.
