Rewind – A Collection by Indie Authors Ireland was published June 7th and is described as ‘an eclectic collection of poetry, fiction and anecdotes’. Indie Authors Ireland was originally set up as a Facebook group founded by Claire O’Connor in August 2023. This wonderful coming together of like-minded authors grew from strength to strength and now forms a collective of over two hundred writers.
‘With almost 50 contributions, the reader is in for a treat of essays, prose, short stories and poetry, all with the theme of Memories. It has been a fun and warm coming together of writers of all styles and genres for an excellent cause, and it has already hit no.1 in two amazon best selling lists! Quite a few of our contributors have recently been longlisted for the Cap Awards ‘ – Claire O’Connor

[ About Rewind – A Collection ]
What are memories but reflections of time?
Whether they are meditations of loss and grief, or cherished moments, they are the only human way of processing the past. Not always happy and not always sad, remembering allows us to position our emotions in a time and place.
This eclectic collection considers just that. The members of Indie Authors Ireland invite you to immerse yourself in stories, anecdotes, and poetry of mixed styles and genres, in a celebration of our brain’s ability to encode, store, and retrieve our memories when needed.
