I’ve been on holidays for the last couple of weeks so I am gently (very slowly) dipping my toes back into blogging. Today I really wanted to mention a brilliant blog post that went live when I was away. It features an international collaboration of approximately twenty bloggers that I was only too delighted to contribute to.
We all shared one review of a book we highly recommend and Carol, of the fabulous Reading Ladies book blog, accumulated them all into one amazing post. This fantastic and innovative idea provides snippets of reviews and further details on a great variety of books across many genres and continents. Carol also added a note mentioning where every single blogger is from so it feels almost like a world book tour!
There really is something for every reader so do please check it out if you missed it.

My choice was the wonderful novel Speak to Me of Home by Jeanine Cummins, author of American Dirt.
An epic novel as three generations intertwine in this remarkable family drama. The complexities of family relationships, racial discrimination, love and regret, all combine into a powerful and dynamic read.

Thank you Carol for the invitation and I hope to be part of this brilliant collaboration again in 2026.
Thanks so much for sharing our collaboration!
Way overdue Carol. Thank YOU!! x
Hope you had a lovely holiday! xx
Thanks, Nicki. We did, but it’s so hard to settle back in to the reviewing etc
