Today my review is of a love story. The Light We Lost is the new release from American writer Jill Santopolo. It asks the question of our destiny and what if? A very emotional read with a beautiful narrative.
Just buy it!!! Block 46 by Johana Gustawsson ~ My Review. A multi-layered, sweeping and evocative thriller that will leave you speechless and quite disturbed, horrified and traumatised. Yet you will have read something great and thoroughly deserving of all the accolades it receives.
My review today is of a novel by Jane Lythell. Woman of the Hour is a behind the scenes look at what happens after the cameras stop rolling. Although a fictional novel, Jane Lythell draws from her own wealth of experience as a TV producer for 15 years.
I am so excited to bring you my review today of The Blood Miracles from Lisa McInerney, the award winning author of the Baileys Prize and the Desmond Elliot Prize novel The Glorious Heresies.
Today I join debut writer Natalie Fergie on tour with her novel The Sewing Machine. In this book we get to trace the life of one vintage sewing machine as it passes through generations across 100 years. A really lovely read!!
I have a review of a riveting and provocative book for you today. Reconciliation for the Dead by Paul E. Hardisty is published by Orenda Books and is one I seriously recommend for it’s harsh truths and a wonderful narrative
Today is my stop on tour with Time To Win, the first in a new crime series described as ‘British Seaside Noir’ from Harry Brett. A fast read leading into what I expect will be a version of ‘The Sopranos’, Great Yarmouth style.
My review today is of a book by the lovely Christine Webber.
Dealing with the issues that arise when suddenly single in your fifties, ‘Who’d Have Thought it?’ is a romantic comedy set against the turbulence which typifies mid-life in today’s society
My review today is of a book a little different. ‘things i should have said and done’ is a novel that challenges our idea of the afterlife. Written by Colette McCormick there is something quite special about this book
Today I am joined by Donna Morrissey author of The Fortunate Brother in an excellent Q & A. I was very lucky to read this wonderful book so I’m also sharing my review with you all. I do hope you enjoy!!
